Individual membership is £5 per annum, corporate membership £25. Donations are welcome.

Membership Benefits

Don't forget that Millets have increased your membership discount to 15%, including their sale and promotion prices. Only a few items, such as GPSs and gift cards, are not included. All you have to do is prove who you are with your Friends' membership card. So remember - never go shopping without your membership card - and tell your friends! Millets stock pretty well everything you need for the outdoor life. They are situated in Wellington Place, next door to Costas.

You can also use your membership card for a 10% discount at the Coastguard Cafe in Coastguard Lane, a favourite meeting place with delicious food, and at the Trading Post in Breeds Place, which is quite a treasure trove of household items as well as stocking outdoor clothing.

Anti-tetanus Reminder

Do make sure your tetanus vaccination is up to date. It is an important vaccination when you are working out of doors, and needs to be renewed every ten years, unless you are bitten by a dog or cut yourself badly, in which case you should have a booster.
